Sharon Just a note to tell you how much we loved staying at the Castle. It was a perfect night and we hope to stay again!

We recently pulled this pair of titled and restored 1971 XSIs down to SnS Export Services in Dewitt Iowa.They went to Norway,getting containerized with a lot of mostly 70's Japanese bikes.On the way home,we stopped in Sabula,Iowa where we spent the night in a great B&B called the Castle.It over looks the huge operations of ADM across the river in Savanna Illinois. The owner (Sharon) is biker friendly and the small island town has enough great taverns and food to make it an ideal stop for a motorcycle holiday down the Mississippi.

We felt right at home as Sharon showed us around, opening the kitchen, dining room, and sitting room for our use. A quick game of Scrabble in the sitting room and we were ready for a night out. Breakfast was delicious, filling, and healthy, and the table set with china and crystal. The rooms were so clean, the sheets fresh, and the view of the river outstanding.
