Romantic Wonderland

My husband and I just had the opportunity to spend several nights at Canyon Road Inn in Turtle Lake, WI. The grounds as we drove up the drive to the house reminded us of a winter wonderland. Being a romantic at heart and fan of "White Christmas" I couldn't help but think of the arrival scene at the lodge in Vermont. The romance truly begins as you drive up that road. The rooms at the inn are beautifully appointed. There is attention to every detail. The fire place stoves in each room lend a warm glow throughout the day and night. The king size beds are comfortable and inviting. It's easy to lounge away the day and be tempted to never leave the room (especially with the whirlpool tub just a few feet away. That however, would be a mistake since it would mean missing a wonderful breakfast and the delightful personalities of the owners Patti and Turner. The grounds are spacious and small picnic areas can be discovered all around. So far, we have stayed in the North Woods and Railroad Rooms. Romance with names like that? You bet! One that should not be missed! MJ

Romantic Escape

My husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely! The location and wildlife were very soothing, and the food and hosts were wonderful. We plan to return in the spring to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary. All in all, a great experience.

Happy New Years

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful New Years stay at the Canyon Road Inn. Turner and Patty provided excellent hospitality. Our room was very nice and the whirlpool and fireplace add a very nice touch. It was a perfect get away from the Twin Cities and it's truly a hidden gem in Western Wisconsin.

Fall Autumn Beauty B & B

We recently spent some R & R in celebrating our anniversary. Ken & Judy are helpful wonderful host. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We wanted a place that was comfortable, in the woods and on the water. There are beautiful sunsets to watch from your private deck. The food was wonderful. Very considerate for specical diet needs. The trails are very well kept. We have stayed at several B & B in the past and this was our favorite. Dennis & Jo Anne

Romantic Proposal Weekend

This was the most wonderful spur of the moment stop. We found ourselves in Gods country with two wonderful Innkeepers. The rooms are beautiful and the scenery was dreamy. I was proposed too sitting on the pier at Turtle Lake with a beautiful sunset and loons calling. Just breath taking. The evening was relaxing and we woke to a wonderful breakfast and great company. Thank you so much !!!!!! We will be seeing you soon, Lisa and Mike

Hidden Treasure

My husband & I needed a relaxing retreat away from the hectic pace of life and found this hidden treasure. Our stay was just that if not more...peaceful, comfortable and romantic. The Inn had clean spacious rooms, gathering areas, and amnities galore to make our stay a wonderful one. Not to mention the beautiful nature views and activities provided outdoors. Of course, the breakfasts were delicous with quite a variety of choices. The extra special treatment from our friendly hosts made our stay one that warrants a return in the future. Truly a treasure you don't want to miss!

Great Place To Relax

We just wanted a lovely place to get some R&R, and we immediately decided upon Canyon Road Inn. We had been there two years before and thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and this year certainly was no different. Ken and Judy are so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable, and their breakfasts are delightful, well planned, and by all means mouth-watering, and delicious. Our stay, from July 14th - July 16th, left us with warm and wonderful memories! Thank you Judy and Ken. Bill and Judy Collins

Great, Great B&B

Our group of five couples love this place. The hosts are the best--their hospitality is wonderful. The rooms are really nice, well appointed and very comfortable. The B&B is extremely clean. A great setting in the woods. Everything meets our standards.

Best B&B By Far &

We have stayed in B&B's across the country and think Canyon Road Inn is the best by far. Their accommodations consider every detail for their guests with well appointed, themed guest rooms that are well maintain and sparkling clean. The common space for guests is very inviting making you feel at home on the deck, in the living room, and the food is over the moon! It's a great get away from the busy hectic city life, and only 60-70 minutes from the Twin Cities. Nature abounds the Inn, hiking and biking trails, fox, loons and oh so much more.

Fabulous Fourth

We were visiting relatives nearby for the July 4th weekend and decided to stay at this B & B as a little "treat" for our recent wedding anniversary. It was a great choice. Secluded, yet not far from the main road. Beautiful setting, lovely and spacious rooms and the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. We had a wonderful time and I only sorry that we weren't able to spend more time there than with our relatives.
