We are a couple in our 40's and this was not my first marriage, we wanted a simple elopement. Super awesome! Sandy took care of everything, Minister, bouquet, pics, hair, makeup, cake, unity candle, etc. Each meal was like 5 star restaurant and it wasn't weird at all staying at a BNB, which neither of us had done before. Beautiful Chapel and Mansion, makes for great pictures!

Horrible Experience

Room and chapel were covered in flies (dead in the room, alive in the chapel). Food was great. Billing issues still unresolved as credit card machine was down, sent checks that got cashed by owner, then she charged my card over 2 months after the wedding stating I didn't pay. After sending proof and contacting my bank, she has not responded in over 2 months to the complaint. Bank has found me to be accurate and has provided temporary refund, but still can't get a hold of owner.

Management Response
We are glad to hear our "Southern style food with Western Flair" was "great" ...especially during our 11th Anniversary Year! I should note, we are Montana's only private full service Wedding and Elopement Resort with both garden and chapel for services from 2 to 100 in the chapel and up to 300 in the Garden. The Chapel is open year round. And of course we are very concerned about bugs of any kind...an unfortunate nuisance. I will point out that Historic Buildings like our 1920 Wedding Chapel and our 1915 Mansion, once the home of Montana's last great Cattle Baron... do suffer in "Hereford Country" here in Central Montana, as the tall sunny windows and colored glass seem to attract flies, even requiring the daily labor intensive hauling of tall ladders, and swabbing window sills under layers of window decorative treatment throughout the Inn. These magical buildings, while adorable & quaint, are nearly impossible to make tight even with painstaking restoration and seem especially vulnerable during "round-up" and "calving season" to flies ... Housekeeping is required to vacumn them up daily and we do use safe aeresols monthly...it could be they missed on a busy day, but we will certainly bring it to their attention ao as not to happen again. I've attached a picture of the Chapel interior and the Cattle Baron Suite for your perusal. Yes, we had a credit card service that did accidently miss place our payments and then to "add insult to injury" re-charge a few customers again...when new hypercoms were installed. It was not at our end. We did notify the company that a check had been sent to replace the charge, however it was still not processed correctly at the service's end. Later after the customer notified us again, we were told by the service company that the problem was taken care of and credit made. The company sent us their apologies to us, and according to them...to the client as well. I have the letters on file. We are mortified to say the least, that this unfortunate issue may not have been resolved. Be assured if not, we will make sure it is rectified immediately. Obviously we are trying to find a new credit card service company...not an easy task in Montana. We are sending a $100 refund, and a FREE Deluxe Cattle Baron Anniversary Suite Gift Certificate valued at $295. in hopes this will remedy the client's inposition. Sincerely, Sandra P.
