         <title>The Pickford House B&amp;B</title>
         <link>http://www.iloveinns.com/bed_and_breakfasts/california/pickfordhouse.htm</link>
<description>Just a few miles from Hearst Castle, The Pickford House pays a tribute to the many actors and actresses who visited the publisher's opulent estate during its early 20th-century heyday. Pictures of Jean Harlow, John Barrymore and, of course, Mary Pickford are just a few of the movie memorabilia guests will encounter. Antiques fill guest rooms, which are named for movie stars of the '20s and '30s. All eight rooms include a clawfoot tub with shower. The innkeeper is full of interesting stories about the area and Hearst Castle. The innkeeper decorated her combination dining room and tavern with a massive 1860s bar fashioned from mahogany. The bar was first used at the Hilton in Buffalo, N.Y. The breakfast specialty is aebleskive, Danish pancakes topped with fruit sauce.</description>
