Romantic

This is the umpteenth time that we have stayed here, and Guy, his wife Sarah and all the BGI crew really know how to spoil their guests. From the plush rooms with fireplaces, soaking tubs, balconies with ocean views to the scrumptious breakfasts and hors deouvres that actually was more like a dinner buffet. This place is so comfy-cozy and you are so pampered, you wish you could move in.

Our Romantic Honeymoon in Style

Thank you to Mina and Jo Ann and the Brewery Gulch Staff for making our honeymoon stay nothing short of incredible. We can't wait to come back!! My husband and I stayed in the Madrone Room for three nights and it really was as romantic as everyone says. My expectations were far exceeded. The Staff are incredibly helpful and will take care of you. The grounds and the Inn are wonderfully rustic, modern and Craftsman in style. We could smell the fireplace from the road and I was in heaven from that moment! The room was impeccable, the bath products were a wonderful surprise and having our own deck was a special touch. The gourmet breakfasts and the light dinner happy hour were both fantastic - our compliments to the chef and staff, thank you! My only regret is that we didn't stay one more night!

Family Xmas, Babymoon, Mini-break..

Brewery Gulch is such a luxury. I took my parents here for Xmas week and spent the time playing board games, watching DVDs, going for walks, and eating delicious food as a family. Price-wise an excellent deal since they feed/snack you all day. The living quarters are very cozy. The beds and chairs are super soft and I really can't say enough about the amenities. The Carneros Inn is the only other place I've spent time in that I love just as much except the cost of the Carneros is preventative. I've also shared this place with my husband and we spent our babymoon here. We will continue to plan mini breaks at the Brewery Gulch Inn when our babies get older and schedule a end to end family reunion there one of these days.

Romantic

I can't imagine a better place to stay when in Mendocino. The Brewery Gulch Inn was wonderful. My wife and I stayed here on our second trip to Mendocino and we found Brewery Gulch superior to the first inn we stayed at. The inn is made from salvaged old growth redwood and this place is beautiful. The interior is warm, relaxing and romantic. The room rates include a full breakfast in the morning, and wine and cheese in the evening. I am not talking your regular B&B muffin and coffee breakfast either. They serve some tastey full breakfast entrees. In addition the wine served in the evening is some excellent Navarro River valley wines. There is a large meadow behind the inn. Every morning and evening several white tail deer come to the meadow to graze. They don't mind humans so you can watch them for as long as you please.

Our Favorite

Romantic. Peaceful. Inviting. I could make a list of great qualities that would fill this page. My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon and we cannot wait to return! The staff was so friendly and helpful, even the owner mingled with the guests and served drinks in the evening. VERY well decorated and had a luxurious feel. The rooms are excellent, especially the bathroom w/ whirlpool tub. The breakfast in the morning and the evening "hors devours" (which was more or less a light dinner buffet), were delectable! We also booked all of our daily activities through the hotel, and paid it all on one bill when we left - horseback riding, in-room massages, tours, etc. Highly recommended!

InnSide Tip - Free Night Certificate
We were traveling during "peak" season, and most of the other inns that accept the Free Night Certificate found in your book do not accept during this season. Brewery Gulch Inn was very gracious, however, and gladly accepted ours.

Romantic Plush and Pampered

My wife have stayed here twice in the past year, and we are on our way next week to stay here. From the little details to surprising us with flowers and champagne on our anniversary, to the extra little service and touches each and every staff member give. The rooms have been recently remodeled and make you feel like you never want to leave and spend the time with your loved one in the room. The music piped in through the grounds and the romantic cozy fireplace in the main room make this a haven away from the stress and life. Don't get me started on the breakfasts, because those are worth some award medals on TOP CHEF! Great job Brewery Gulch Inn, you will keep us back coming again...and again...and again!!
