Brannan Cottage Inn

Brannan Cottage Inn

109 Wapoo Ave
Calistoga, CA 94515-1136
United States of America

(707) 942-4200

Circa 1860. This Greek Revival cottage was built as a guest house for the old Calistoga Hot Springs Resort. Behind a white picket fence towers the original palm tree planted by Sam Brannan and noted by Robert Louis Stevenson in his "Silverado Squatters." Five graceful arches, an intricate gingerbread gableboard, and unusual scalloped ridge cresting make this a charming holiday house. Six spacious guest rooms feature down comforters; three have four-poster beds. Guests enjoy a full breakfast and evening wine and cheese.

FANTASTIC STAY

Brannan Cottage Inn

5 of 5 hearts
Les B

this inn is fantastic!!! Doug is a great and friendly host and innkeeper, went out of his way to take care of us. fantastic and tasting hot entry delivered as soon as you were almost done with the fruit bar and baked bread. We liked the freedom of no set time to be at the table, so you do not have to worry to get up in time. Doug had a bottle of sparking apple cider waiting for us and supplied us with a electric water pot for tea and hot chocolate in our room. What a delight to be able to stay at this inn, they have a friendly dog and allows pet!!

We have been regular guests at the BCN for 5 years now. We keep coming back because of the wonderful environment, the friendly people and the great inn keepers: Doug and Judy. Every stay has provided both the rest and adventure that refreshed and revitalizes. Very personal feel, romantic rooms and fresh brewed coffee waiting with the breakfast every morning. A lovely experience!

We had an outstanding stay. Doug and Judy were wonderful and gracious hosts. The breakfasts were wonderful. Recommendations for visiting the area were extremely helpful. And the inn itself was convenient to the area, quiet, and restful.

The experience that we had as a leisure visit at Brannan Cottage Inn was amazing. From the minute we walked through the door to our departure (we wish we didn't have to leave - Doug and Judy made us feel like family!) was just incredible, the atmosphere, the food, the people, other guests, the grounds, amazing.

My wife and I enjoyed a 5 day stay and loved the Brannan Cottage Inn. Doug was a fantastic help with recommending great wineries, spas, restaurants and other sight-seeing opportunities. His wife Judy made incredible breakfasts each morning - the perfect amount before venturing out for wine tastings! Evening wine tastings were a great way to kick back, reflect on the day and meet the other guests.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Brennan Cottage. Doug and Judy take excellent care of you and get you anything you need. Then there is Pinot Grigio who loves to be the center of attention and has a blast running around the yard. The breakfasts are great Judy did a great job of preparing the meals. Wine sampling in the evening was a great way to meet all the other guests staying at the inn.Walking distance to restaurants and spas in the downtown Calistoga area make this a great place to stay.

Extremely comfortably appointed room and we've travelled all over the world and the hospitality here is unrivaled even in Italy. Delicious strada and fruit for breakfast in a charming setting that encourages conversation with fellow travellers. If you're anywhere near here don't miss this.
