A welcoming, traditional Vermont In

This is a true Vermont gem of an Inn. We were made to feel very welcome and loved our spacious bedroom with its pretty duvet bedding and individual touches. Our breakfast the next morning was just right for us both; I liked the organic homemade granola and Cabot yogurt and my husband went for the waffles and eggs! So glad places like this are still being so lovingly preserved.

InnSide Tip - Steven Douglas House/Museum
We were interested to hear that Steven Douglas had lived most of his life in Brandon and that his home, a short walk from the Brandon Inn,has been newly renovated, and is in excellent condition. It has been turned into a fascinating museum and visitor center. It is well worth a visit.

Great Wedding Location!

We attended a wedding at this Inn 3 weeks ago. Everything was fabulous! The place had an old fashioned charm and our room was so comfortable. But ... the FOOD was Superb! Best wedding food we ever experienced. The Chef, who is apparently also the Innkeeper really gave us a wonderful experience. We wish we had had our wedding there. Will try to go back for an overnight visit in foliage season. Definitely ... check them out!

InnSide Tip - Don\'t miss the breakfast!
They serve their breakfast until 9:30am, so don\'t sleep late. We almost missed it , and that would have been a mistake. It was good.

Married here 1998 Romantic!

We were married at the Brandon Inn in 1998 and it was such a beautiful ceremony in a gorgeous setting. We and our guests were treated wonderfully and we have cherished memories of our wedding. We return every year we can, now with our son. The inn is great for couples or for families. The inn is full of lovely mismatched antiques, with uniquely decorated and arranged rooms, renovated baths, and charming spots to cosy up in in the public areas. It is a very special place. Enjoy!

Beautiful wedding

Many thanks for the beautiful wedding of our daughter and son-in-law. It was a picture perfect day with the outdoor ceremony next to a bubbling brook. Cocktails were outside as well and we had a superb reception. The food was outstanding with a huge array of food with a beautiful presentation. We loved having our Pittsburgh and Vermont families staying together at the inn. Thanks again for an everlasting memory!

Wedding 8/13/11

The Brandon Inn was the most beautiful setting and accommodating place I could have imagined for our wedding. The service and attention paid to every aspect of the process was wonderful and the food was INCREDIBLE. Thank you to Sarah, Louie, and their amazing staff for making our wedding day the best day of our lives.

Wonderful Stay at the Brandon Inn!

My son graduated from Middlebury College in May 2012, and I booked several rooms for my family and friends at the Brandon Inn for the commencement weekend. This was an extremely special occasion for me and my family, and I wanted everything to be perfect. The Brandon Inn did not disappoint! Lynn Garrity, Front Desk Manager, could not have been more helpful in honoring every request I made in advance and once my party arrived. Louis (the Innkeeper) and his family were so very hospitable. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The lobby area, dining room, and enclosed glass porch were lovely. I am a very particular person who travels a great deal for business and pleasure, and I can honestly say that I (and my entire group) was very pleased with our accommodations. The rate includes a full breakfast each morning, which was absolutely delicious. There was a wonderful variety of hot and cold breakfast selections. Brandon is a lovely, quaint New England town. The people at the Inn and in the shops are just so welcoming. I highly recommend this gem -- the Brandon Inn. I cannot think of anything negative about my stay or the property, and for me that is really saying a lot! Middlebury parents, if you are looking for accommodations for 2013 commencement, I encourage you to consider the Brandon Inn. There were a number of Middlebury parents staying there during commencement 2012, and the Inn is exactly 20 minutes (I timed it) from the MIddlebury college campus. Over the four years that my son was a student at Midd, I stayed at almost all of the inns, B&Bs, and the one hotel in Middlebury. All were nice, but not one surpassed the Brandon Inn, in my opinion. Thank you, Brandon Inn, for helping to make my son's graduation weekend an event to truly remember, and for the gracious hospitality you extended to my family, friends, and me. Mrs. L. Green

CHARMING AMBIENCE

Spent a 4 day weekend at the Brandon Inn Halloween weekend. The Brandon Inn was a wonderful charming Inn with lots of character. We were greeted pleasantly with swift booking. The Inn has a very interesting history an is very unique. The rooms were very quaint and very comfortable to sleep in. It is located right in town with so many galleries, French Bakery, places to dine. Visited the Little Twisted Gallery on Carver Street. Had many unique items to buy. You must visit there. The is a complimentary breakfast with fresh pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit salad, granola and the chef came out to take our breakfast order. Anything you would like to have. If you are planning to visit Brandon, VT, I would highly recommend staying at the Brandon Inn.
