Romantic Interest
Boreas is continually given awards in the Most Romantic Inn categories. Considered a place to reconnect with your sweetheart, Boreas is a favorite spot for proposals, honeymoons and anniversaries. The spa by the dunes is enclosed by a cedar and glass gazebo and has a single key. Couples place a candle in the window and lock the door and are assured of total privacy and romantic time in the 32 jet spa. The sunsets and winter storms are spectacular as viewed from any of Boreas' guest rooms. The private trail leading through the dunes to the ocean is a perfect place to hold hands and be alone.
Historic Interest
Built in the 1920s, the Inn sits on the 1805 high water line where the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery walked on November 19, 1805.
