Circa 1840. This Federal-style brick and limestone house, overlooks the wide Missouri River and Katy Trail. Situated in an old river settlement with its brick street and green spaces, the inn is at the start of the Boone's Lick Trail. V'Anne's delicate lemon biscuits, fresh fruit and hot entrees are served amid regional antiques and Paul's working duck decoy collection. Because of its setting and decor, travelers have remarked at how close the inn resembles a European inn.
