Blueberry Fields Bed and Breakfast

Booked a one night stay in August of 2010 and went to the Union Fair the next day. I must say, the drive was beautiful! When we turned into the driveway, I knew we made the right choice :) Debbie and Cyd were at the front door to greet us and show us to our room (the Bryant Pond room) and I was taken aback by how beautiful everything was. We spent a wonderfully relaxing evening in our room and even grabbed some freshly baked cookies for an evening snack! The breakfast in the morning was exceptional. Debbie is a great cook and sitting in the dining room, sipping coffee and looking out the window was a great way to wake up. Would really recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic, comfortable and welcoming Maine getaway (with delicious food!!)

I was lucky to rent this property (cottage) for 2 whole months this summer. I quickly settled into this cabin and it felt like home. This cabin has every amenity one would need, including a completely stocked kitchen. Washington Is a very lovely and quiet town, and in close proximity to the coast, lakes and forests. If you time your stay well, you can benefit from the blueberry field in the front yard! Best of all, the Zeiglers are amazing hosts and it's obvious they love creating an enjoyable stay for their guests.

My girlfriend and I spent the end of the decade in this cabin (our stay was 12/30/09-01/03/10). Although the weather was treacherous and consequently we were not as mobile as we had hoped to be, we had a wonderful time. I figure that most people would consider this remote cabin in the woods for a spring or summer vacation, but we had an amazing time in the middle of the snow and freezing cold. The cabin is very well kept, quaint and charming. Cyd and Debbie were incredibly friendly and helpful without being too present. If you are looking to get away from everything and just relax by a wood burning stove this is the place. Can't recommend it highly enough. Cheers, Joe

The Zeigler's are the BEST!!!!! I had the best vacation ever. The cabin was beautiful, cool, comfortable and very homey. Debbie and Cyd are so friendly and accommmodating. The weather was beautiful and the property was pretty, also. The hiking trail was very invigorating. We all had a great time with the fire pit cooking marshmellows and hot dogs. The cottage at the Blueberry Fields B&B was exactly what we were looking for: affordable, clean, peaceful, with all the comforts of home and rustic charm. In addition, our hosts at the Blueberry Fields B&B were exceptionally accommodating and friendly. This rental was a perfect "home away from home" for wayfaring Virginians on a short visit to the Mid-Coast of Maine.

This was our second year renting this cabin. Cyd and Debbie are wonderful hosts, and Cyd has a wicked Maine accent:) The cabin is clean and cozy as well as roomy. The can's aesthetic is charming and rustic yet it has all the comforts of home. The hosts make sure there is plenty of kindling and wood stocked to keep the wood burning stove going for days. The setting is serene, quyiet and beautiful...we will be returning again and again.

Wonderful hosts and Brianna is a doll! (very good waitress, too!) We did eat lots of great breakfasts at Blueberry Fields!

The best restaurant was the B&B. Deb is a wonderful cook, but when she cooks the love she puts in every meal. Deb and Cyd are living a dream, we should all work to find and live our dream.

I am still in "awe" of all the beautiful craftsmanship that went into building this fantastic home...It has taken my breath away several times...seeing the beauty in everything they worked so hard for. And, it's been a heart warming feeling to see a lot of old family "treasures".

Short stay, so it was nice to find quiet and friendly place to relax. Would like to come back and explore the hiking trails. Look forward to returning when I have more time!

This is a wonderful find. Blueberry Fields is pristine, warm & cozy. The "bestest" night's sleep in 63 years! P.S. The detail to native woodwork by the hands of the keepers is out of this world. Coming back for sure!

I have never had such wonderful stuffed blueberry French Toast. Deb and Cyd are wonderful hosts. This is a beautiful setting. It was easy to relax and feel right at home.
