Blackfork Inn
303 N Water StLoudonville, OH 44842-1273
(419)994-3252
A Civil War businessman, Philip Black, brought the railroad to town and built the Blackfork. Its well-preserved Second Empire style has earned it a place in the National Register. Noted preservationists have restored the inn with care and it is filled with a collection of Ohio antiques. Located in a scenic Amish area, the inn specializes in three-course Amish-style breakfasts with local produce. The innkeepers also offer two large three-room suites in a restored 1847 house; one suite includes a gas fireplace. Ask the innkeepers about arranging a personal tour of Amish homes.
