Description

Circa 1902. To love arts and crafts is to love Bishop-Brighton Bed and Breakfast in Wyandotte, Michigan. The English Tudor revival has been decorated using an artistic eye including stencils done by the innkeeper. The nationally known Wyandotte Art Fair is held nearby each July. Each of the three guest rooms is painted in a muted color and has a private bath with antique claw-foot tub. For those traveling as a family, two of the rooms have separate sitting rooms with a sofa bed. Relax on the wrap-around porch with a refreshment from the butler's pantry and a book or magazine from the library. Enjoy a gourmet breakfast before venturing to the boardwalk at Bishop Park directly behind the inn. The park also hosts outdoor concerts and is an ideal spot to watch freighters traveling on the Detroit River. Walk two blocks to downtown Wyandotte for restaurants and shops or drive 15 miles to Ford Motor Headquarters and downtown Detroit.
