Circa 1853. The history of this beautifully restored inn, located in Pennsylvania Dutch Country, dates back to the 18th century when it served as a hotel for weary travelers along the state's turnpike. The original inn was destroyed by fire in 1851 and a three-story hotel was built in its place with Victorian-style architecture and furnishings in a country setting. Twenty-four deluxe guest bedrooms are tastefully decorated. Suites feature a variety of options including fireplaces, sitting rooms, whirlpools and kitchens. Enjoy continental-plus breakfasts and evening snacks. Take a complimentary two-hour bus tour of the scenic area.
