Description

Circa 1888. With the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop and complete with a two-story turret and sweeping veranda, this inn reminds guests of a picture-perfect Victorian country home. Tucked away in the turret is where Louis XV furniture graces the sitting area. The room is given a French country garden feel with its sleeping alcove with lavender walls, violet floral wallpaper, curtains, bed cover and orchid carpet. A chandelier hangs from the turret ceiling above a huge, circular bed, and 11 windows offer a view of the yard and its tall evergreens.

Step back in time

Berthoud Inn and Events is like a step back in time. The cozy surroundings added to the elegant, yet relaxed atmosphere. However, the high point of our stay was the fabulous three-course breakfast. I have never had glazed salmon and three kinds of dessert for breakfast! Mark is such a warm, friendly host that Berthoud Inn felt like home, only better. Torrington, Wyoming

Delightful

My wife and I want to thank you for your wonderful hospitality during our brief stay at the Berthoud Inn and Events! It was delightful. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at a B & B. The room was roomy, quiet and very comfortable. In short… the best! ~ Dr. Ron Ross

Wonderful, Romantic Inn

After having visited the Berthoud Inn and Events three times I feel well qualified to write a review. Twice for business and once for pleasure, each visit exceeded my expectations. Mark, the Innkeeper, is kind and caring and anticipates guests needs before they arise. Set in a country setting, the inn is large, comfortable and very well appointed. The small town of Berthoud has wonderful views of the front range of the Rocky Mountains. My business was in Ft. Collins to the north and Longmont to the south, so Berthoud seemed the perfect choice. Thank you for creating such ambiance! I'll be back.

InnSide Tip - Craft Beer Mecca
If you are traveling to northern Colorado and a craft beer fan, you'll be in heaven. City Star in Berthoud among others in town are great, plus in Loveland and Ft. Collins choices abound.
