Description

Circa 1858. Two gorgeous garden-filled courtyards surround this luxury inn that was originally known as part of the Nelson Stillman Estate, belonging to one of the wealthiest men in this lead-mining, riverboat town of the 1800s. Relax on wicker furniture on one of the two covered porches. Play the piano in the parlor. Stay in a romantic Victorian guest bedroom or suite with a double whirlpool, fireplace, beverage-filled mini-refrigerator, VCR, CD player and matching robes. Plan the day's activities with advice shared over a satisfying breakfast.

Wonderful Weekend

Thank you both for the wonderful weekend. It was Perfect! Couldn't ask for anything better. Very relaxing. Breakfast was great! This was a special surprise getaway for our 1 year anniversary. Happy Birthday

We had a great time in Galena celebrating my 31st birthday. The Romance Room and your B&B are incredible. We enjoyed talking with you and the other guests. The skiing at Chestnut during the day was fun. Thanks for a much needed relaxing weekend

Hospitality

Dave and Bernadine, we really enjoyed our stay. We didn't know what to expect at a bed and breakfast. After the first day we wished we had more time to stay! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality. The food was great!

Once again thank you for your hospitality and sharing your wonderful home with us. We began our relationship here on one of our first visits and we are happy to spend our honeymoon here now.
