About Our Rooms

The Belvedere Room

Our premier accommodation. A room with a view – and extra privacy. Queen-size bed. With a full private bathroom (shower, commode, sink), microwave oven, ceiling fan, and electric fireplace. Separated by a staircase from the rest of the house, you are overlooking the entire neighborhood. From up there, you enjoy a magnificent panorama on Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park, Tank Hill and Mount Sutro, the Pacific Ocean, and across the Bay to the Marin Headlands. Wake up in this intimate and romantic setting and go to sleep watching the sun set over the California horizon.

Type of bed: Queen

The Sutro Heights Room

Our most spacious room. For yourself – or if there are more than just the two of you. Queen-size bed and a Twin-size bed plus a large couch. With a full private bathroom en-suite (bathtub/shower, commode, sink). Set aside from the main part of the house – next to the Mount Olympus Room – you have the benefit of added privacy. This Mediterranean-themed former in-law apartment offers also a spacious, semi-private sitting room (shared only with the Mount Olympus Room), complete with electric fireplace, ceiling fan, refrigerator, microwave oven, table, chairs, and game set. The room can easily accommodate additional guests, and your bathroom is oversized and luxurious as well.

Type of bed: Queen, Twin

The Mount Olympus Room

Sunny and luxurious. And plenty of space for up to three. Queen-size bed plus Twin-size bed. With a detached full private bathroom (bathtub/shower, commode, sink) across the sitting room. This sun-flooded room complements the Mediterranean theme of the next-door Sutro Heights Room. Both share exclusively a large, semi-private anteroom (complete with electric fireplace, ceiling fan, refrigerator, microwave oven, table, chairs, and game set) away from the rest of the guesthouse where you can sit, read, or enjoy your breakfast. Enjoy the sunshine in your room or soak and relax in your large bathtub.

Type of bed: Queen, Twin

The Nob Hill Room

Elegant and cozy – and so versatile. This one is a staff favorite. Queen-size bed plus a sofa that converts into a pull-out bed and a flat-panel HD-TV. With a full private bathroom en-suite (bathtub/shower, commode, sink). This bright and sunny room combines warmth and comfort with great chic. Your elegant private bathroom makes this a very convenient choice. And from your bed you have a wonderful view of Tank Hill and Mount Sutro. Cuddle up and read a book or grab a blanket and snuggle on the love seat.

Type of bed: Queen

The Russian Hill Room

The sunniest room in the house. And it’s either one or two beds. King-size bed or two separate Twin-size beds. With shared bath. The many windows of this bright corner room make for luminous days and sensuous, moonlit nights. The two Twin-size beds connect alternatively into one King-size bed – just let us know which setup you’d prefer. The WC is shared with the Telegraph Hill Room; the main bath is shared with the Nob Hill and Telegraph Hill Rooms. Enjoy the spectacular view of Tank Hill and Mount Sutro and the trees right outside your room.

Type of bed: King(2) , Twin

The Telegraph Hill Room

Our economic selection. European style with all the elegance and charm of Belvedere House. Queen-size bed. With shared bath. You like it very quiet and comfortable or you’re on a budget? This classy and inviting room offers you all the great comforts at an even greater value. The WC is shared with the Russian Hill Room; the main bath is shared with the Nob Hill and Russian Hill Rooms. Open the window and you can almost touch our Eucalyptus trees right outside your room.
