Description

Circa 1865. Originally built in 1865 by the prominent Bellinger family, this recently renovated inn exudes Victorian grace and charm. The exquisite decor and splendid antique furnishings invite pleasantries and relaxation. The common rooms include a formal parlor with a vintage player piano and a sitting room offering modern entertainment such as videos or DVD with surround sound. Both areas provide the warmth and ambiance of wood-burning marble fireplaces. In keeping with the name, a romantic theme of roses adorns the two unique guest bedrooms with spacious sitting areas. A full breakfast is served daily in the elegant dining room. The pampering continues with plush robes, a year-round hot tub, and a chair massage that is included with each night's stay.

ROMANTIC, COURTEOUS,PROFESSIONAL

I Must start out first by saying: My husband and I were so impressed with the welcome we received upon arriving to this fabulous retreat-we already knew we would be back. The meals were outstanding, the host and hostess were and are very friendly, cordial, and offered us outstanding recommendations for dinner as well as what was going on in and around town. Chris the Licensed Massage Therapist as well as Registered Nurse offered me flexible scheduling and even waited up to give me a massage I will not soon forget. We arrived late approximately 10pm on a Thursday because of horrible road conditions and she still gave me a much needed hour and a half massage. We were so exhausted that we literally had breakfast at 11am the next day-no questions asked. We never realized that such a wonderful place existed basically right in our back pocket. My husband and I now make it a ritual retreat when the worlds troubles start getting to us.

InnSide Tip - stress relief in a timely manner
I suggest to anyone needing a massage-that they book it in advance, even if your staying at Bellinger Rose Bed and Breakfast you might not get the time you wanted as she is a very good massage therapist and books fast.
