Circa 1915. Located in the historic McCully Mansion, this Colonial sits poised on more than one acre of lawn, pasture and gardens and includes access to the Wallowa River that borders the land. Explore the year-round trails and breathtaking wilderness with or without a guide. Joseph, Oregon boasts a thriving art community with galleries of many sculptors and painters just a block away on Main Street. Musicians, writers, world-class foundries and excellent museums also reside in the area. The Eagle Cap Wilderness is a few miles away and Wallowa Lake is nearby. Relax by the piano in the fireside living room. A guest refrigerator is provided in the dining room. Spacious guest rooms are named after the three mayors who were previous owners and feature generous amenities. One includes a fireplace. Hearty breakfasts, which some consider gourmet, are made with fresh eggs from onsite chickens. Special dietary needs are requested when making a reservation.
