Circa 1909. Considered the town's first mansion, this stylish two-story, turn-of-the-century home was built for Cody's first elected mayor. A romantic Victorian ambiance is achieved with warm hospitality, antiques, soft lighting, chandeliers and splendid wall and ceiling papers. The parlor inspires nostalgia. The guest bedrooms feature either a brass bed and clawfoot tub, a lodge pole pine bed, jetted tub and western art, or an open, sunny room with double shower. The suite boasts a fresh water hot tub and CD player. Offering private seating, breakfast is served in both of the dining rooms. The Carriage House is a cottage with a fully equipped kitchen.

Historic Interest

Built across a four-year span of time beginning in 1905 this stylish home was often called the town's first true 'mansion'. It was built for Frank L. Houx, Cody's first elected Mayor. The Inn was moved to its current site in 1997 and caringly restored to its turn of the century splendor. It is once again filled with an inviting atmosphere, collectible and antiques.
