Description
Circa 1929. This little cottage once provided for Grandma when she came to live with her children on the farm. Stones from the banks of nearby Kickapoo River were used to construct the fireplace and the chimney for the old cookstove. Guests reserve the entire cottage, which sleeps six. In spring, a hammock sways beneath blossoming apple trees. A hearty country breakfast is served. Both children and adults enjoy watching deer, wild turkeys and owls or visiting the livestock.
