Description
Circa 1930. With 300 feet of Lake Michigan beach front before them, guests at this beautifully renovated Cape Cod home can enjoy a sunrise over the lake from their rooms. Rooms are furnished with antiques and include French doors opening to private decks. Breakfast is served in the dining room, although "breakfast in bed" requests are honored, as well. Afterwards spend the day on the beach or visit the villages of Door County. Then come home to Amberwood's Jacuzzi or sauna, sit around a beach side campfire or read by your private fireplace. The favorite activity is listening to the waves and watching the stars. Nearby are marinas and boat ramps, hiking, cycling and cross-country ski trails. Sturgeon Bay is 20 minutes away. Algoma offers antique and craft shops also, as well as winery tours, festivals and fine restaurants.
