Description

Circa 1889. A lumber baron built this Queen Anne Victorian as his residence, which still maintains period elements such as stained glass and rich woodwork. The home was purchased by the Williams family in 1904, and Mrs. Ina Philips Williams was the first woman member of the Washington State House of Representatives. Theodore Roosevelt, whose portrait is displayed among other historical photographs, was a guest of the family. Elegant guest bedrooms feature period decor and classic Victorian furnishings. A multi-course, candlelit breakfast is prepared by innkeeper, European chef Erika Cenci, author of “A Touch of Europe“ cookbooks. This B&B also offers onsite fine dining, specializing in signature domestic and wild game entrees, and personalized menus. Private luncheons, traditional high teas or memorable dinners can be developed exclusively to fit almost any occasion or theme.
