Description
Circa 1893. Named after entertaining a brother who was a diplomat from the Netherlands, this two-story Queen Anne is tastefully furnished in antiques and collectibles. Greeted in the entry hall with leaded- and stained-glass windows on the stairway landing, the parlor fireplace is a relaxing gathering spot. Guest bedrooms feature interesting curved footboard, half-canopy and four-poster beds. The Tower Suite with adjoining sitting room is in the finished attic and offers terry robes, as do all the other rooms. A satisfying breakfast is served in the dining room. Play badminton, basketball, pickle ball or paddle tennis on the outdoor court. It is an easy stroll to view the historic districts surrounding the inn.
