Description
Circa 1912. Just one mile from the Nisqually Entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park, this Victorian inn with a three-story turret has been serving guests year-round since 1912. Sip a glass of wine by the fireplace in the parlor. Peruse the collection of books about the Pacific Northwest. Accommodations include guest bedrooms and suites as well as two guest houses, The Forest House and The Chalet. Choose from a hearty breakfast menu in the restaurant dining room. Acclaimed for its fresh rainbow trout dinners, regional foods are prepared every day and enhanced by a selection of wines or local micro brew beers. Top off the meal with a piece of blackberry pie. Soak in the steaming hot tub, overlook the creek-fed trout pond, surrounding hills and cascading waterfalls. Families enjoy walking the nature trails.
Location: Mountains and Mount Rainier National Park.

Historic Interest |
Built in 1912 by a homesteading family, Alexander's catered to the traveling public in the earliest days of Mount Rainier National Park. Much of the original 10,000 square foot building remains in-tact. The current owners did a major renovation in 1984, adding antique European stained glass and modern amenties in both the bedrooms and bathrooms.
