This working cattle farm sits in the scenic foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains secluded at the end of a private road. Browse through the library for a book, game, movie or brochures to local tourist attractions. Sip a glass of sherry or wine by the fire. Relax on the screened porch or patio areas. Children enjoy the playhouse, swings, slide and sandbox. Evening hayrides and campfires can be arranged. Beverages and snacks are available in the country kitchen. Stay in a guest bedroom in the main house or the Laurel Glen Cottage. A hearty breakfast with cooked-to-order eggs is served daily.

Minimum Stay Requirements: Two-night minimum for weekend, holidays or special events as determined by innkeepers. Cancellation: 14 days advance notice for holidays, Martinsville Races, Mayberry Days, Autumn Leaves Festival, Hillsville Flea Market, FloydFest and other special events as determined by innkeepers. 7 days advance notice all other reservations. If not advised, one night's lodging fee is charged unless the accommodation is rebooked. $50 administration fee for reservations made and cancelled within 1-3 days. Pets: Pets Allowed, Innkeepers pets on premises and Outdoor pets only. Small kennel with dog house available. Will discuss. Smoking: Limited.
