Description
Circa 1740. This log inn has been welcoming travelers since the time settlers took refuge here against the Indians. Later, it served as a stagecoach inn on the old Valley Turnpike, and in 1862, it was Stonewall Jackson's headquarters. Most guest rooms feature working fireplaces and views of the Shenandoah River and Massanutten Mountains.
