Description
Spanning 20 scenic acres of woods and fields just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, this sprawling mountain home offers a peaceful setting. Candles in the evening add a touch of romance. Enjoy breathtaking views from the 60-foot front porch or stroll the walking trails and drink the delicious water that comes from the spring-fed stream. Food is available for feeding the many variety of fish in the stocked pond or try catch and release with barb-less hooks. Huge Catawba rhododendrons grow all over along with wild raspberries and blackberries. Spacious guest bedrooms are newly decorated with quilts, ceiling fans and hair dryers. A four-course breakfast is served in the formal Williamsburg-style dining room with a gas log hearth. A casual dinner is offered with advance notice.
