Description
Circa 1902. Experience the romance of the Victorian era at this three-story hotel, situated on two acres, just one block from Main Street. Built in 1902 as a hospital, the building was converted into a hotel in 1915 after a doctor ran off with a nurse. Since then, it has been the social hub of Strasburg and offers luxurious accommodations and an exquisite dining area. Each room of the Victorian clapboard inn holds the finest array of antique furnishings, all of which are for sale. Period pieces are continually brought into the inn from the innkeepers' travels. During their stay, guests enjoy hiking, canoeing, fishing and visiting nearby Civil War battlefields or taking an hour-long drive to Washington, D.C. Enjoy the elegance of Victorian gourmet dining in the hotel's dining room throughout the day.
