A canoe is available and the front porch is perfect for watching the sunset with refreshments. Two large decks also provide incredible vistas. Built in 1868, this Italianate home is designated a Virginia Historic Landmark. Guest bedrooms and a suite with a fireplace and private deck offer comfort and gracious living. A certified massage therapist can be arranged in advance. Start each day with a bountiful family-style breakfast.

Home was built the year the RR was rebuilt after the Civil War. The trims, mantles, railings, etc. were all ordered by catalog and shipped by rail. It is not the typical Victorian home and is one of the few remaining Italianate homes remaining in the Valley. Historic Awards: National Register (Granted) and State Register (Granted).
