Circa 1913. Built with cypress from Dragon Run Swamp in 1913, this country farm house offers the ambiance of yesterday and the amenities of today. Relax on the large front porch, or play a game on the picnic table under a big shady tree. Planned arrivals with reservations are greeted with fresh flowers, fruit basket, homemade treats and beverages. Keeping in character with the surroundings, guest bedrooms are named after farm animals. Each room boasts antique furnishings, a cheery decor and a romantic Jacuzzi tub. Enjoy a hearty country breakfast before exploring the scenic area. Tour Lighthouse Island, with one of the oldest lighthouses on Chesapeake Bay.
