Description

Circa 1892. Originally built as a large private home and then later converted into a small hotel, this inn has been renovated recently to provide a comfortable elegance. Antiques and reproductions impart a tasteful blend of furnishings. A traditional English afternoon tea is served in the public tea room. The spacious guest bedrooms do not share a common wall to ensure a quiet peacefulness. Most offer views of the bay and sitting areas for reading. The inn is known for gracious hospitality and maintaining a tradition of scrumptious breakfasts, so guests can expect an abundance of homemade specialties. Visit nearby uninhabited Assateague Island boasting a National Wildlife Refuge and National Seashore.
