Whether you are here to visit your child at either Washington and Lee University or Virginia Military Institute, visit with ghosts of the Civil War or are just in need of a quick getaway, we hope you enjoy your stay at Auberge and leave refreshed, rejuvenated and relaxed.

Ralph Lauren’s Secretariat sets the theme of this room for the horse lover in all of us. Wonderful hand-colored lithographs along with genuine riding props, and old and new books all about horses give you plenty to occupy your eyes.

Wallpapered with a Waverly paper of trees and birds,, this room has a baronial feel. Decorated with heavy oak and metal furniture that appears to be from perhaps a castle in Europe along with luxurious bed clothes.

Key West Suite

Visit sunny Key West in Lexington Virginia. This bright cozy room with large private bath is named for my last home port. As you lie among the colorful bed clothing you can almost hear Jimmy Buffet singing you to sleep.
