Circa 1845. Surrounded by ancient black walnut, sugar maple and white pine trees, this historic dairy farm sits on twenty acres in the heart of scenic Otter Creek Valley between two mountain ranges. The classic Greek Revival farmhouse boasts wide porches with magnificent views that have remained unchanged for more than 150 years, and the huge Gothic barn is a landmark. Enjoy late afternoon snacks and tea by the fire in the Asher Benjamin library. Exquisite guest bedrooms feature canopy beds, corner fireplaces and luxurious robes. Romantic and secluded honeymoon cottages include kitchenettes, living rooms, dining areas and whirlpool tubs. Relax with early-morning tea or coffee in the parlor before a country breakfast with soft music, candlelight and specialties like eggs Dijon, spinach quiche and stuffed French toast.

Minimum Stay Requirements: There is a two-night minimum on weekends in the Israel Munson Room and the Milkhouse cottage all year round. During fall foliage season there is a two-night minimum in all rooms at all times. Three-night minimums may apply on certain holiday weekends. Cancellation: Your reservation is confirmed with a credit card that you provide. If cancellation is made with at least 14 calendar days notice (30 days for fall foliage and certain holiday periods), your credit card will be charged a $25 administrative fee. If you find that you must cancel within 14 days (30 days for fall foliage and certain holiday periods) of your scheduled arrival, we will charge your credit card with the full amount of the scheduled stay and issue you a gift certificate for that amount less the $25 fee good for 6 months from the date of issue. No gift certificates will be issued for no call no shows or early departures. Pets: Pets Allowed, Innkeepers pets on premises, Certain pets allowed in cottages with prior approval and $200 deposit.
