Circa 1885. Both a fine country inn and restaurant, The Inn on Trout River, offers an ideal location for enjoying Vermont's Jay Peak region and the historic district of Montgomery Center. Antiques and comfortable furnishings decorate the inn. Feather pillows and down comforters top the queen-size beds. The innkeepers offer adventure packages and new packages are added throughout the year. The inn's location provides close access to downhill and cross-country ski areas, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, golf courses, swimming, fishing and hunting. Museums, shops, antique stores and auctions are other amusements. The area boasts seven covered bridges and endless acres of scenery perfect for shutterbugs and nature lovers alike.
