Minimum Stay Requirements: 2 night minimum on weekends and 3 nights during holiday periods

Cancellation: If a cancellation is made 21 days or more prior to your arrival date, you may elect to either receive a refund of your deposit less a $30 handling fee, or apply the entire amount of your deposit towards a future stay within the next year. If a cancellation is made less than 21 days prior to your arrival date, no refund will be possible regardless of the reason. Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed reservation dates, you will be responsible for all of the original room nights booked from your intended stay.

Historic Interest

Made famous by President Eisenhower's visit in 1955 during a fishing expedition, the Inn was originally the barn for the Long family's turnip farm in the 1870s. In the 1940s, William Barstow, an associate of Thomas Edison, purchased the farm as an overflow lodging option for guests. Throughout the ensuing years, improvements and additions to the original building were made, however still maintained the integrity of its Yankee origin and the beauty and ecology of its natural surroundings.
