Description
Circa 1909. For some, the scenery is enough of a reason to visit Vermont. For those who need more, try the Lilac Inn. The restored inn's beautiful furnishings, polished woodwork and fireplaces add to the ambiance. Canopy beds dressed with fine linens, flowers, whirlpool tubs and sitting areas grace the guest rooms. A full, gourmet breakfast is included in the rates. The inn is a popular site for unforgettable romantic weddings. The landscaped, two-acre grounds include ponds, a gazebo and hundreds of perennials and annuals. Flowers decorate the ground's stone walls.
