Circa 1832. Country elegance only begins to describe this wonderful inn built as a Greek Revival with Federal influences. Extensively renovated and redecorated, the romantic guest bedrooms and suites are informal yet sophisticated. Some feature gas-log fireplaces, two-person whirlpool tubs, marble floors and decks. The inn's restaurant is known for its world-famous cuisine and award-winning chef. The gardens are showcased on the spectacular landscaped grounds, accented by a stream and two ponds. Sitting amidst the Green Mountains in the state's easily accessible southeastern corner, the area has much to offer in gorgeous, eye-appealing scenery and numerous outdoor activities.

Overlooking the village green, this suite features a king bed, cathedral ceilings, two sitting areas and a two-sided gas fireplace. A large, two-person spa tub with waterfall faucet offers views out massive Federal-style windows. The luxurious marble shower has a 12-head all-body massage spray.

A Shaker-style king bed faces a double-sided gas fireplace in this sun-filled suite. The separate sitting area features French doors opening onto a spacious deck overlooking the mountainside. Enjoy the two-person spa tub in the luxury marble bath, complete with double sinks, shower and skylight.
