DescriptionCirca 1801. John Buckmaster's tavern was licensed in 1820, and the inn soon became well known on the Woodstock Road. Standing majestically on a knoll, the Buckmaster overlooks a picturesque red barn and valley scene. Its center hall, grand staircase and wide-pine floors are accentuated with family heirlooms. There are wood-burning fireplaces, a library, and large porches. This property has been featured in The Rutland Business Journal. Location: Country and Mountains.
