Room DetailThe Bennington Room
This second floor bedroom is one of the larger ones, with a lovely sitting area and great antique furnishings. Opposing windows create a wonderful breeze through the room, with views both north and south.
The Caladonia Room
The most sheltered and secluded, this ground floor bedroom boasts a sliding glass door opening onto a lovely patio. There is a small seating area for reading, relaxing or conversation.
The Orleans Room
The brightest and sunniest room with pleasant views of the back pasture, this second floor bedroom has an over-size King featherbed and a bath with a skylight, affording an excellent view of the farm next door while you shower.
The Washington Room
This second floor bedroom is the largest and has a wonderful antique wardrobe. The room is part of the original farmhouse and has a "lazy" window, lots of antiques and a large, comfortable sitting area.
The Addison Room
This second floor bedroom is one of the coziest. It has great views of the Mad River and the neighboring farm, and has a bed with a beautiful wood headboard topped with a fluffy down featherbed. The large private bath has a walk-in shower.
The Chittenden Room
This second floor bedroom also has a lovely view of the Mad River and the front lawn area. It is furnished with period pieces and has a private bath with tub and shower. Sage painted walls and stained glass windows make it most relaxing.
The Franklin Room
This private first floor room is quietly set at the back of the inn. Also, conveniently next to the guest television room, many guests choose to use the TV room as their semi-private seating area. Its view outside is of the kitchen herb garden in the summer, and the dooryard area year-round.
The Windham Room
This ground floor room is directly adjacent to the parlor, making it ideal for anyone who has trouble with stairs. This room stays coolest in the summer and warmest in winter. It is also the room to first smell the wonderful morning aromas. The view from the window is of the farm and gardens to the north.
