Built by past notable Amarillo Mayer J. H. Patton, an ex-cowboy for the famed XIT ranch. The home was moved to its current location in the early 1900s. During the 30s it was a boarding house, known as the Waldorf Hotel :) for RR laborers. Ironically, the present innkeeper/owner, since March 1976, is originally from upstate NY.
