Circa 1900. This turn-of-the-century mansion still maintains many of its original features, such as heart-of-pine flooring, gracious staircases and antique glass windows. Verandas and covered porches decorate the exterior, creating ideal places to relax. Guest rooms are decorated in a romantic, country flavor. One room has a bed draped with a lacy canopy, and five rooms include double Jacuzzi tubs. Antique shops, an outlet mall and Lake Conroe are nearby, and the home is within an hour of Houston.

Aptly named after a blend of China Red paint, mixed to match the lush Australian bed linens. This corner bedroom includes a Queen poster bed with a fishnet canopy and a large full bathroom including bathtub with shower and a pedestal sink.

Phil's Room

Phil, the George's first customer (who incidentally stayed several months) is this room's namesake. This bedroom offers a Queen-size down feather bed with rich luxurious linens. A cozy oversized whirlpool type bathtub awaits you in a private alcove looking over the side grounds and courtyard. Attached to this room is another country-inspired outdoor garden room complete with twin bed for an extra adult guest. Unusual stone floors and beautiful sky blue ceiling makes one feel they are sleeping in a garden. Charge for additional guest is $50 per evening. The Angel Room

This very unique French-style bedroom features a fluffy goosedown comforter on a tall, comfortable bed. Hand painted stone floors complete the &34;garden&34; look. Antique hand painted wooden shutters overlook the courtyard that features a lush waterfall with large colorful Koi fish. Private bathroom includes a shower with hand painted, unusual country-French accessories. Attached to this room is another country-inspired outdoor garden room complete with twin bed for an extra adult guest. Unusual stone floors and beautiful sky blue ceiling makes one feel they are sleeping in a garden. Charge for additional guest is $50 per evening. The King's Quarters

This exceptional bedroom is the most secluded room located in the Carriage House overlooking one-half acre of the grounds. Totally French, complete with lush bed linens featuring satin sheets and unique French furniture. The bedroom and bathroom have been hand painted in the ever popular fleur de lies motif. This room also features an oversized whirlpool bathtub for your enjoyment. Private entrance with seating on balcony.

Heather's Cottage

This unit is specially designed for our special needs guest. This luxury suite features a Queen antique bed and includes a large double Jacuzzi-style tub for two and a walk -in shower facility. Handicapped accessible ramp is located in the back courtyard close to the waterfall

The Renaissance Room

A truly unique experience located in the secluded Carriage House. This room displays a Renaissance theme complete with a hand painted cobblestone English fence throughout the bedroom, bath and kitchen. The bath features an oversized whirlpool tub. A small kitchenette with refrigerator, coffee service and stainless steel sink are available for our guests. The bedroom set features a unique French-style bed and armoire housing a color television for easy viewing from a comfortable bed. The Edinberg Suite

A step into the Scottish decor two-bedroom suite will bring the rustling's of bagpipes. The massive King-size iron bed with a goose down feather mattress and Damask coverlets requires a set of steps to enter the bed. The second bedroom features a Queen-size bed with a feather mattress and Damask coverlet. Each bedroom has European antiques and Damask window coverings. The kitchen area finds a unique self contained European kitchenette found in many of the older Old World homes. A Jacuzzi/shower combination highlights the bathroom, one definitely takes the high road on a tour of this suite.

Cabbage Rose Suite

Holland never seemed so real. Upon entering the kitchen from the back porch, a striking alcove with baskets with Dutch lace greets the eyes. It is matched with the half shutters and lace drapes found on each window. The first of the two bedrooms has two twin beds with Chenille bedspreads. The front bedroom has a Queen lace canopy with a half tester bed with a matching Chenille cover. The windows are draped in Dutch lace with a liberal sprinkling of European antiques. These are brought together with an Old World TV wardrobe. The bathroom features a large corner Jacuzzi tub combined with a shower and Peacock Chenille shower curtain. This suite has the charm of a true interior decorator and lacks only the windmill to send one's thoughts to Holland

Jon's Room

Revisit the French Revolution with a tour of this kitchen and one bedroom rural French suite. The agrarian antiques compliment this room, along with the Twall designed highlights that are seen on the window coverings and the coverlet over the early French bed. A jacuzzi tub and free standing corner shower highlight this French farm looking bathroom. A true taste of old Europe
