Crooked Creek Farm B&B

Description

This traditional brick house, which is found in a rural community of 1,300, is nestled on the edge of the East Texas timberline. Not far from the Greater Dallas area, the farm covers more than 100 acres where cattle graze and hay is grown and baled. Trees, a creek, nature trails, and four fishing ponds are on the property. A hearty country breakfast may feature ham and bacon, eggs, seasoned hash browns, biscuits and gravy as well as a fruit dish served with home baked sweet breads. The menu varies daily. In town, Heritage Park Museum offers turn-of-the-century restored buildings furnished to represent the rural life of a century ago.
