Circa 1900. Encompassing almost 250 acres of meadows, pastures and farmland in Texas Hill Country, Cedars Cabins sits in New Ulm, halfway between Houston and Austin. It is only 20 minutes to the annual antique fair in Round Top. Four separate accommodations offer a variety of choices with country décor and furnishings from the historic, renovated main house to one of the cabins. Sit on a porch chair, swing or rocker, nap in a hammock, or fish in one of the three ponds. Outdoor games include tetherball, croquet, horseshoes and volleyball. Maid service is provided before and after each stay. Fully equipped kitchens and barbecue pits are available or enjoy fine dining in local restaurants.
