Ab Butler's Dogtrot at Triple Creek boasts a country setting in Texas Hill Country with downtown less than five minutes away. This B&B is a 200-year-old historic log cabin built in Kentucky and moved to Fredericksburg, Texas in 1997. Relax on a chair or swing on the covered porch or pitch horseshoes. Rebuilt as a two-story cabin with entirely separate accommodations, each suite has a downstairs living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a bedroom upstairs with a king-size bed and a private bath that features a regular size Jacuzzi tub. Gift certificates are provided for breakfast at one of the several local restaurants. Special packages are often available.

This 200 year old Kentucky log cabin was disassembled in 1997, brought to Texas and reassembled as an inn with two suites in 1998. The original timbers are utilized, original stairs, and original lathe from the room are intact. The Dogtrot was used during the Civil War as a hospital.
