Inkeepers Notes

This site was selected in 1891 as the location of the Sioux City Gentleman's Gaming Club. This exclusive club had several elegant suites and featured a two-story octagonal great room, topped with the Gentleman's Poker Room. In the Roaring Twenties, Chicago multimillionaire, F.O. Butler purchased the property and converted it into a guesthouse for his affluent friends. In 1990, the house was totally renovated and opened as a Black Hills Bed and Breakfast.
