Description
Circa 1820. Although George Washington never actually slept here, he did keep his horses on the premises while he dined in a restaurant next door. Today, the bed & breakfast is certainly fit for more than a horse. In fact, the innkeepers bill the place as an "antique warehouse." Rooms are pristine and airy with the signature antiques as well as a few modern pieces. The manicured grounds include a small garden filled with orchids. Charleston is known for its outstanding cuisine, and there are many restaurants within walking distance. Guests also can stroll to shops and boutiques or take a walking tour past historic homes. Plantation tours and golf are other nearby attractions just a short drive away.
Location: City/Urban.
