The Chestnut Inn is the perfect destination for lovers desiring a private escape or families desiring a suite of rooms to house the whole gang plus the family pet. Located one block from Narragansett Bay and in the historic "Point" section of Newport, we are a 15-minute walk along the waterfront with 18th-century sea captain's majestic Victorian homes to view along with the bay and Newport Bridge as a backdrop. We offer an expanded continental breakfast with a country flavor to it. Whatever the chef is making homemade that day as a breakfast special, you get it. Enjoy the food in our country kitchen with a wall of windows looking out to the garden or on the porch in the summer for the ocean breezes. The kitchen is open 24/7 for your convenience to cook a lobster or have a drink and watch TV. Our bedrooms are decorated Victorian style with king-size beds and air conditioning. Off-street parking is provided. Pet sitting upon request.
