Description
Circa 1868. Located on 90 acres, this Victorian farm house has scroll-decorated gables and a wraparound porch. It has been in the present family since 1920, and the innkeeper's father once ran the old saw mill. The inn has antiques and quilts, and artwork collected during many years of living overseas. Guests are welcome to play the pump organ or gramophone or borrow binoculars for bird watching (bald eagles, blue jays and herons). Nearby attractions include seal-watching cruises, the Wood Islands Ferry, Orwell Historic Village and Charlottetown. Rates are quoted in Canadian dollars.
