Description
Circa 1793. This 18th-century fieldstone farmhouse is one of the oldest homes in Bird-in-the-Hand. Located in the Pennsylvania Dutch Heartland, the inn is decorated for comfort with Amish influences represented throughout. There are four guest rooms with private baths and fireplaces or stoves. Guests are invited to lounge by the outdoor pool or sit on the porch and watch the horse-drawn buggies go by. Guests will enjoy a delicious complimentary continental breakfast featuring homemade coffee cakes, danish, muffins and bagels in the formal dining room. The inn is within walking distance of shops, museums, farmers market, antiques and crafts.
