Circa 1775. Stay in this restored 1775 stone house while visiting the area’s many tourist attractions such as Gettysburg Civil War Battlefield, Hershey Chocolate World, Lancaster Dutch Country or Harrisburg (the state capital). The well-appointed guest bedrooms offer canopy beds, and one boasts a fireplace. Tree-studded grounds and a large gazebo are perfect for weddings. The first-floor rooms and catering staff also enhance business meetings and retreats. Walk the nearby Appalachian Trail, or fly fish in the Yellow Breeches and Letort Springs.

The Elizabeth Junkin Room

This room is named after the first child born to the Junkins in 1779. Small but charming room, which shares a bath.

This Elizabether, also born in 1779 and a neighbor to the Junkins, is an ancestor to the present owners. Spacious room, which can accommodate four people with use of a trundle bed. Large private bath.

The Eleanor Junkin Room

Joseph Junkin brought his bride to Kanaga House in 1778, and this room is named in her honor. This suite features fireplace and private bath.

Named after the sixth child born to the Junkins in 1790. His daughter, Eleanor, was Stonewall Jackson's first wife. Private bath, telephone and TV.
